(formally Jessica)

Welcome! I’m really glad you’re here!

Seriously, I am. Because you don’t have to do this life alone.

For over a decade, I’ve supported people navigating the complicated, messy, and meaningful work of being human. As a licensed professional counselor and therapist, I know that seeking support can be hard—and I also believe it can be worth the commitment.

My approach to therapy is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and respect for the unique experiences that shape us. I work with people who want to better understand themselves and, through that awareness, experience greater freedom to make new choices and create lives that feel more authentic and connected.

What could be possible if you gave yourself the space and support to relate differently—to yourself, your relationships, and your life?

Me as a Complex Humxn

I recently changed my name to Journey. That’s been adventure, but I feel more free to me. I am on my own path of healing which includes somatic and cognitive therapy, spirituality, dancing, hiking, massage, charcuterie boards, Tarot, and connection with my family, friends and learning community. Born and raised in New Mexico, mountains feel like home to me and I’ve lived in the Kansas City area on and off for over 20 years with my primary partner and two kiddos and not-so-therapy dog - Ernie.
